mcbw Design Summit 2025

The mcbw Design Summit 2025 is a wrap. It was great pleasure to moderate the Design Summit of the munich creative business week, Germany’s largest design event again at the Munich Urban Colab.

The theme of 2025 was “How to design vibrant communities” and it was great being on stage with the renowned designer Tim Brown, Chair and former CEO of IDEO and Ana Relvão, Co-Founder of the design studio Relvãokellermann. Both immediately liked the idea to frame our discussion based on the input from our audience who had to come up with big questions as a starting point for curiosity. This led us speak about the role of design in current turbulent times, the unintended consequences of design that should be taken into account and the patience that designers should have more of in order to design meaningful products.
